The 6th Annual Mount Lebanon Independence Academic Contest

The main aim of this contest is to encourage students to deepen their understanding of Lebanon’s identity, history, and cultural richness, while promoting healthy competition, teamwork, and a sense of national pride among participating schools.

  • Arabic Language Grade 9 Curriculum

Who can participate?

Only two students from Grade 10 may participate from each school within the Aley district. Participating students must be in their school uniform.

How many schools will participate?

Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We will accept the first five schools that confirm participation by filling out and submitting the registration form.

How to participate and what to submit?

To participate, kindly find the registration form here and fill out the online form to submit your school’s entry. Please make sure to complete and submit the form before the stated deadline.

Who can attend?

A maximum of three chaperones may accompany the group. Each school may be accompanied by a maximum of 15 students from grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 as audience members. 

Coordination Meeting is required: 

Teachers from the participating schools are kindly requested to attend a coordination meeting at UCA to prepare the contest questions on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM.

What are the awards?

First Place: Gold Medal

Second Place: Silver Medal

A certificate of participation will be provided to all participating schools.
