Admission Requirements

Admission Policies

1. A UCA Admission Application must be completed for each prospective student along with the following attachments:

    • A recently issued Individual Civil Status Record إخراج قيد فردي for Lebanese students. Students of other nationalities must submit a copy of their passport and a copy of their residency.
    • A copy of the most recent report card issued by the previous school.
    • A copy of the passport.
    • Health and immunization records.
    • A letter of good conduct from the previous school.

2. Applicants to the High School Diploma Program must obtain official permission from the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education to pursue the American system.

3. Once the completed application is submitted to the Admissions Office, an interview appointment will be scheduled.

4. Passing an entrance examination is required to determine grade-level readiness.

5. Academic records for all previous schoolwork must be submitted prior to enrollment. Transfer credit for high school courses will be awarded based on these records.

6. Applicants wishing to transfer to UCA during the school year must also provide their current assessments.

7. Students entering Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 under the American Program will receive a credit assessment after a review of their official transcripts. A program meeting will then be scheduled to plan and set the course of study.

8. Students entering Grade 10 in the Lebanese Baccalaureate Program will be granted provisional registration upon payment of fees, pending submission of Brevet certification and evaluation for Grade 10 readiness. If the Brevet is not passed with a minimum of 60%, registration fees will be refunded and admission will be denied.

9. Students coming from abroad must submit an equivalency certification from the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
